New Delhi, January 3, 2025: IDFC FIRST Bank has announced the launch of IDFC FIRST Academy, a comprehensive digital financial literacy platform designed to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to manage their financial matters effectively.
The Academy offers a range of courses, covering 255 topics, categorized into three levels: Foundation, Intermediate, and Advanced. The program is meticulously designed to provide a deep understanding of financial topics, with each topic taking just 3-5 minutes to complete. The entire program totals 36 hours of learning.
IDFC FIRST Academy aims to simplify complex financial subjects into easy-to-understand bite-sized modules, using expert-designed content, blogs, videos, and interactive quizzes. The platform also includes real-world scenario-based activities to enhance practical understanding and certification programs to recognize participants’ learning.
The program is designed to be progressive, allowing users to join at any level based on their current financial literacy and grow their knowledge on financial matters. For instance, the Savings course covers topics such as “What is a Savings Account?” and “What is Interest?” at the Foundation level, while the Advanced level covers topics like “Goal-Based Savings” and “How to Manage Emergency Funds.”

Upon completing each course, users will be prompted to take an interactive quiz to test their understanding of the topic. Based on the test results, they will be awarded certificates, recognizing their learning and progress.
