On January 19, 2025, External Affairs Minister of India Dr. S. Jaishankar met with Japan’s Foreign Minister H.E. Takeshi Iwaya in Washington D.C., marking their second official meeting. The two ministers previously convened on the sidelines of the G7 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in Italy on November 26, 2024.
During their discussions, the ministers reviewed key aspects of bilateral cooperation, focusing on political, security, economic, technological, and cultural exchanges.
