IndiGo Plane Lands At Noida’s Jewar Airport Successfully

Noida International Airport Limited (NIAL) conducted the successful first validation test for Jewar International Airport in Noida on Monday ahead of its opening in April 2025 for commercial purposes.

The Indigo flight taking off from Indira Gandhi International(IGI) Airport landed at Jewar Airport between 1 pm and 2 pm today. The test was conducted under the supervision of officials from DGCA, the Civil Aviation Ministry, NIAL, and the Uttar Pradesh Civil Aviation Department.

The airport spans over an area of 1,334 hectares with a total investment of Rs 29,650 crores has a 3.9 km long runway. The Uttar Pradesh Government’s tremendous project is being developed by Yamuna International Airport Private Limited(YIAPL), a subsidiary of Zurich International AG.
