Terrorist Junaid Ahmad Bhat from Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) involved in various terrorist activities including the killing of civilians at Gagangir, Ganderbal claiming seven lives has been neutralised. Junaid, hailing from Qaimoh, Kulgam district of South Kashmir and classified as a Category A terrorist, highlighting his dangerous nature has been killed in a cardon and search operation (CASO) by the joint parties of Special forces.
The Kashmir police through their account on X informed about the operation. They further tweeted, “Operation continues in the upper reaches of Dachigam by J&K Police along with Joint Parties of RR and Security Forces. Further details shall follow.” Weapons has also been recovered from the site where he resided indicating towards armed militancy.
