BJP President JP Nadda has lashed out at Opposition leaders for seeking the removal of Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar through a no-confidence motion

BJP Leader JP Nadda condemned President of Congress Mallikarjun Kharge in the Parliament for his remarks on the Chairperson of Rajya Sabha and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankar on Wednesday.

Nadda also flagged the post from the social media handle of the Indian National Congress (INC) where the chairperson has been called ‘Cheerleader’ and said that this should be censured as it is a way to demean the democratic system.

He said, “It is unfortunate that Leader of Opposition Shri Mallikarjun Kharge, a senior leader despite having a lot of experience criticized the chair in a press conference. This is objectionable and condemnable and is misleading.”

Refusing the allegation of lack of opportunity given to Kharge to speak he said, “He has been called to chamber many times and letters have been written by the chair to the leader of opposition time and again to participate and come to the chamber which was denied”

Nadda further added, “He did not participate in the last BSE meeting reflecting his disinterest in the system of democracy and his disrespect for the system”
