Actor-director Justin Baldoni is reportedly preparing to take legal action against his “It Ends with Us” co-star Blake Lively following her allegations of sexual harassment. Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, confirmed to NBC that they are considering a lawsuit in response to Lively’s claims.

While specific details of the potential lawsuit have not been disclosed, Freedman expressed Baldoni’s willingness to make public the text messages exchanged between the two actors before and during the filming of the movie. “I am more than willing to take every single text message that exists out there, lay them out, put them on a website for the world to see, and let them determine the truth for themselves,” Freedman stated.

On December 20, Lively filed a formal complaint with California’s civil rights department, accusing Baldoni, who directed the film, along with his production company and public relations team, of creating a hostile work environment and conducting a smear campaign against her. In her complaint, Lively detailed several inappropriate incidents, including Baldoni allegedly entering her dressing room while she was breastfeeding and making comments about her weight.

The situation escalated on December 22 when the New York Times published a report outlining Lively’s allegations of harassment and the purported attempts by Baldoni and his team to undermine her credibility. In response to these serious accusations, Baldoni firmly denied any wrongdoing. On December 31, he filed a $250 million libel lawsuit against the New York Times, seeking to challenge the publication’s reporting on the matter.

As the situation develops, both parties are preparing for a legal battle that could bring further scrutiny to their claims and the circumstances surrounding the production of “It Ends with Us.” The outcome of this dispute remains uncertain, but it has already garnered significant media attention and public interest.
