Arvind Kejriwal, a notable figure, is the first leader in this nation’s history to recognize the struggles faced by women. A major issue for women is that they often have to rely on men for even their basic necessities. During childhood, they depend on their parents, later their husbands, and in their senior years, on their children,” CM Atishi said.
“If Arvind Kejriwal had not been jailed, the money would have been deposited to the women’s accounts. The arrest of Kejriwal created a delay, but during that time, numerous ladies approached him. “They demanded more than Rs 1000 to meet their needs,” she said.
“To fulfil this demand of the women of Delhi, he promised today, that Rs 2100 would be given to every woman from the Delhi government after the formation of the new government,” commented Chief Minister Atishi. Arvind Kejriwal made two big announcements on Thursday to assist Delhi’s women.
Kejriwal told the journalists, “Today, I’ve come to make two major announcements for the people of Delhi. Both announcements are for women. I had pledged to provide Rs 1,000 to each woman. This idea was approved in the cabinet meeting headed by CM Atishi this morning. This system has now been implemented in Delhi.
The former Chief Minister went on to say that, while the system is currently in place, the actual transfer of funds would not occur immediately. “Elections will be announced in 10-15 days, so it is not possible to transfer money to the account right now,” Kejriwal said, alluding to the election timeframe, which may temporarily stall the process.
