This idea was approved in the cabinet meeting headed by CM Atishi this morning. This system has now been implemented in Delhi.
The former Chief Minister went on to say that, while the system is currently in place, the actual transfer of funds would not occur immediately. “Elections will be announced in 10-15 days, so it is not possible to transfer money to the account right now,” Kejriwal said, alluding to the election timeframe, which may temporarily stall the process.
