Vice President of India Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar has urged farmers taking part in any demonstration to talk things out and find a solution. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar said, “My doors are open 24/7 for farmers, also urged protesting farmers to resolve issues through dialogue.” He also encouraged farmers who were demonstrating to talk things out.
Marking 138th birthday of Raja Mahaendra Pratap, he emphasised that India has its roots in farmers who are the bedrock in building the nation. He added that he is confident that the issue will be resolved. The protests held by Bhartiya Kisan Parishad are held to demand compensation in the agricultural reforms, including a legal guarantee for the Minimum Support Price.
In addition, other farmer’s organisations, including the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha (KMM) and the Samyukt Kisan Morcha have planned for March, “Chalo Dilli”on foot from December 6.
