Actor Naga Chaitanya talked candidly about his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu after marrying actress Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024.
Naga Chaitanya expressed his displeasure in a recent interview that his split from Samantha has turned into a “topic of gossip.” In 2021, the stars made their divorce public. The actor said in an interview that he doesn’t understand why, four years later, his divorce is still being discussed.
Naga Chaitanya has spoken out about his divorce from Samantha Ruth Prabhu, describing it as a “mutual decision,” just months after being married to Sobhita Dhulipala. Even though he and Samantha have both moved on with their lives, Naga Chaitanya said they still hold a great deal of respect for one another.
As someone who comes from a shattered home, Naga Chaitanya also talked about how he considers a relationship a thousand times before ending it.
Urging people to respect their privacy, Naga Chaitanya reportedly said, “We wanted to go our own ways. For our own reasons, we have taken this decision, and we respect each other. We are moving on in our lives, in our own way. What more explanation is needed, I don’t understand. I’m hoping the audience and media will respect that. We have asked for privacy. Please respect us and give us privacy on this matter. But, unfortunately, it is a headline. It became a topic of gossip. It became entertainment.”
After courting for a number of years, the couple got married on December 4, 2024, at Naga Chaitanya’s family-owned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Their engagement took place in August 2024.
On finding love again, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor said, “I’ve moved on with so much grace. She has moved on with so much grace. We are leading our own lives. I have found love again. I am so happy, and we have so much respect for each other.”
