Hours after intense air strikes by the Israel Defense Forces against Houthis targets in Yemen on Thursday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu claimed it to be helping the ‘entire world’. At the same time, Iran slammed it by asserting it to be a ‘flagrant violation’.
Netanyahu claimed that the Iran-backed rebel group, Houthis did not only attack Israel but it attacked the entire world including international shipping and trade routes. Therefore he asserted that when Israel acts against these groups then it’s acting on behalf of the entire international community.
In response to these attacks, Iran condemned Israeli strikes and called this a flagrant violation of the principles and norms of international law and the UN charter.
