Union Minister Kiren Rijiju condemned the actions of the Congress party and its allies over the No-Confidence motion against Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar.
Attacking on Congress, he said, “You people are not worthy of being a member of this House. If you cannot respect this Chair, then you have no right to be a member of this House.” He also said that he can say by name that those people who made meaningless allegations in front of the public by taking the name of the VP Dhankhar.
Rijiju further said, “If you people attack the dignity of the Vice President, then we will defend him completely. You people have an intention, we will not let you succeed.”
Rijiju said that as the Chairman of this Rajya Sabha, the whole country is watching how the Vice President of India has maintained the dignity of this House. “But we have been seeing from the beginning that the people of the opposition neither believe in democracy nor care about the dignity of the chair.”
Talking about Soros, he said that the link between Sonia Gandhi and Soros that is coming out today and they have not made the link, this is being reported in the world. Congress should be ashamed that they have relations with those who work against India. Congress talks in the same language as the Soros speak.
He said that the Congress party should apologize and the relationship between Congress and Soros should come out.
