A symbolic protest was held by INDIA Bloc with Rahul and Priyanka in the lead in the Parliament today, wearing PM and Adani masks. Lined up in front of the Samvidhan Sadan, the protesting MPs chanted Anti-Slogans against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Industry Leader Gautam Adani.
Since, the Winter Session began on 20 November, the opposition’s persistent attacks on the Central government for avoiding a discussion on the Adani bribery issue have resulted in frequent washouts in both Houses. They are demanding a probe into the bribery case in the US involving the billionaire industrialist.
The protesters stood outside the Makar Dwar of Parliament and raised slogans like “Modi, Adani ek hain” and “we want justice”. Rahul and Priyanka held copies of constitution symbolizing violation of Constitutional Rights.
RJD and JMM joined the protest while TMC AND Samajwadi Party refrain from it. BJP saw this as a rift between INDIA Bloc.
