An Air India passenger was found dead upon arrival of the flight at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport from Delhi on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Asif Ullah Ansari.

Upon the landing of the Air India flight AI2845 at 8:10 am, the crew tried to contact the passenger during the post-landing procedures as they assumed him to have fallen asleep but received no response.

Following the unresponsiveness of the passenger, the doctors on board assessed the passenger and confirmed his death.

An investigation has started to determine the circumstances surrounding his death. However, the cause of death will be clear after the autopsy report.

This marks the second incident this month, the earlier one being the death of an 82-year-old woman at Delhi Airport due to a brain stroke, which was attributed to Air India’s failure to provide a pre-booked wheel chair.
