During a heated showdown in Parliament between the ruling and opposition parties over remarks about Dr. Ambedkar, BJP MPs Pratap Sarangi and Mukesh Rajput sustained head injuries. In response, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called to check their well-being.
Both the MPs have been admitted to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital in Delhi today. PM Modi called the Medical Superintendent Ajay Shukla to check on the health of both the MPs and later spoke to each of them personally.
Pratap Sarangi sustained a deep cut that caused heavy bleeding, which was treated with stitches by the doctors while Mukesh Rajput who fell unconscious earlier has gained consciousness and is feeling a bit dizzy and anxious due to high BP.
According to Sarangi, Rahul Gandhi pushed an MP who fell on Sarangi leaving him with a head injury. However, Rahul Gandhi has denied all these allegations and stated that it was him, Kharge, and other Congress leaders who were being pushed by BJP MPs.
