PM Narendra Modi Reaches Kuwait For 2-Day Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi landed in Kuwait for a 2-day visit on Saturday for the first time in the last 43 years. He was invited by His Highness Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Amir of the State of Kuwait.

On his arrival in Kuwait, he first met the book publishers, Abdullah Al Baroun and Abdul Lateef Al Nesef who published Ramayana and Mahabharata in Arabic version. Modi believes that this visit will enhance the special ties and friendship bond between Kuwait and India. He said, “it will undoubtedly strengthen the India-Kuwait friendship across various sectors”

He would also be meeting the Indian diaspora in Kuwait and attending the inauguration ceremony of the Arabian Gulf Cup.
