Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit france to attend the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action summit, scheduled to take place from February 10 to 11, announced by french President Emmanuel Macron during the 30th conference of Ambassadors.

The high-profile summit aims to spark global dialogue over the impact of Artificial Intelligence on societies worldwide. The event will comprise a diverse group of stakeholders, heads of state, international organisations, and business leaders to explore the far-reaching implications of AI.

According to the French President Emmanuel Macron, a total of 90 countries, including India, have been invited to participate in the summit. The will delve into five critical topics: AIs public interest, the future of work, innovation and culture, trust in AI, and global AI governance.

During a press conference for summit briefing, the French presidency described India as a “very important country, particularly in terms of its potential to make a concrete impact on people’s lives. We look forward to India’s contributions to the summit’s various teams”.

The summit will take place in the Grand Palais in Paris, with a packed schedule of sessions and meetings on February 10. Later the same evening, President Macron will host a famous dinner for heads of state and distinguished guests. Another exclusive meeting will be held on February 11.
