Pushpa 2: The Rule starring actors Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna made the biggest opening in the history of Indian Cinema after releasing on December 5.
On its first day, Pushpa 2 collected a net of ₹164.25 crores in India. The contributions were as follows: Telugu₹80.3 crores, Hindi₹70.3 crores, Tamil₹7.7 crores, Kannada₹1 crore, and Malayalam₹4.95 crores.
It is believed that if the trend continues for four consecutive days, the movies can surpass Jawaan with an earning of more than Rs 250 crores.
The massive success of Pushpa: The Rise’s sequel can be attributed to the extensive promotions its actors conducted all over India.
