Hitting out at the Congress, Senior BJP Leader Rajnath Singh that a specific party consistently attempted to “hijack and appropriate” the Constitution’s framing by saying that ‘Constitution, not a single party’s contribution’. He claimed that Congress purposely neglected the contributions of various leaders in its creation.
He emphasized that the Constitution addressed religious freedom and made it clear that the state would be secular and not practice any religion. He stated that our Constitution outlines the path for nation-building and touches on social, economic, political, and cultural aspects of existence. It serves as a blueprint for securing India’s position on the global scene.
“The Constitution of India was made by the people of India, following the values of India. Our government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working with the spirit of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas, our government is working by the Dharma written in the Constitution of India. Our Constitution is progressive, inclusive, transformative. This is our country where a person born in a poor family can also become the Prime Minister of the country and he can also become the President of the country,” he added.
