The text of the PM’s conversation with the Kapoor Family has been released by the Prime Minister’s office. PM Modi and the family members seem to have spent a pleasant moment where they remembered the late actor and rejoiced his brilliant career. PM Modi attributed the actor to be a significant part of the radiant journey of the Indian film Industry. He ascribed him to have established India’s ‘soft power’ in the world which is very important in diplomatic relations nowadays.
The Kapoor family and PM Modi reminisced about Raj Kapoor’s charm in the world and recollected how people across the world loved him. PM also recollected his young days of being a part of the Jan Sangh when the party leaders lost Delhi elections but despite that renowned leaders like Lal Krishna Advani and Atal Bihari Vajpayee went to see the late actor’s movie. The family also acclaimed the Prime minister for his warm gesture towards them.
The Kapoor family will be celebrating a grand retrospective of the late actor from December 13 to 15 with the help of the Government of India, NFDC, and NFAI. In this ten iconic films of the late actor will be showcased in 160 theatres in around 40 cities.
