In a significant move to boost employment in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will distribute more than 71000 appointment letters to newly appointed recruits in central government departments and organisations on December 23, 2024.
The event will take place under Rozgar Mela through video conferencing at 10:30 am. Rozgar Mela is a step taken by the Prime Minister to fulfil his commitment to prioritising employment generation. The Rozgar Mela will be held in 45 locations across the country. This initiative aimed to provide meaningful opportunities for youth to participate in nation-building and self-empowerment.
The recruitments take place in various ministries and departments of the central government,t including the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Department of Posts and the Ministry ofunderh and Family Welfare. The Rozgar Mela is Modi’s significant effort to generate employment opportunities for youth.
