Rosoboronexport to exhibit the Su-57E fighter among various other aviation systems at the fifteenth edition of Aero India 2025 from February 10-14 in Bengaluru, India
Rosoboronexport is the only state organization in Russia responsible for exporting the entire range of military, dual-use products and services, and technologies.
It will organize Russia’s unified exhibit at the event, showcasing a diverse range of over 500 products, aiming to expand partnerships in Asia.
The newest Russian Su-57E fifth-generation fighter jet will be presented in India for the first time on February 11 at 3 pm in the outdoor display area of the exhibition.
Advanced guided air-launched missiles designed to be integrated into aircraft armament systems of both Russian- and foreign-made Gen 4++ and 5 fighters will also be presented at the event.
The refueling aircraft IL-78MK-90A having the capability to quickly convert into transport, sanitary, firefighting, and medical hospital versions will be presented in the special aircraft sector.
In the aircraft engine sector, new products such as VK-650V is designed for installation on the Ka-226T helicopter will be awaiting the guests. An Indo-Russian joint venture for its production has been registered in India and is expecting orders from the country’s security, defense, and law enforcement agencies.
In the air defense sector, various weapons of long, medium, and short-range designed to engage targets of various sizes and purposes, varying from ballistic missiles to small commercial UAVs will be presented. In addition, a lineup of Pantsir systems will be presented by Rosoboronexport at 1 pm on February 12.
Alexander Mikheev, Director General of Rosoboronexport, emphasized the agency’s collaboration with India to enhance bilateral technological cooperation under the framework of the Make in India program.
He stated, “We offer our partners large-scale projects to develop and produce military aircraft, helicopters, air defense equipment, armored vehicles, and ammunition. We are also ready to discuss the possibility to jointly promote these products in third countries.”
As part of the Aero India 2025 business program, Rosoboronexport plans to hold key meetings and negotiations with representatives of the Ministries of Defense and other law enforcement agencies of India and Asia-Pacific countries.
India is Russia’s most significant strategic partner in the Asia-Pacific region and one of Rosoboronexport’s key global partners. Between 2005 and 2025, Rosoboronexport signed contracts with India worth $50 billion, with the total value of Russian military supplies to the country reaching approximately $80 billion.
