Delhi-NCR: St Stephen’s College, 2 Delhi Schools Receive Bomb Threat Emails

Bomb threats were emailed to St Stephen’s College, Delhi University, and two schools: Ahlcon International in Mayur Vihar and Shiv Nadar School in Noida. Following the threats, students were sent home from Ahlcon and Shiv Nadar schools as a precautionary measure.

The site is being searched by police teams, a bomb detecting team, and a dog squad. Officials have not yet confirmed if any suspicious objects have been found.

The Ahlcon International School in Delhi was the target of a fabricated bomb threat. At approximately 6:40 am, Delhi police were notified of the bomb threat at Ahlcon International earlier on Thursday, a 15-year-old student of Class 9 was taken into custody for sending fake emails of bomb threat to four schools in Noida.ational School in Mayur Vihar.

“This information was shared with the control room and senior police officers. The school premises were then checked by bomb detection staff with dog handlers. Nothing abnormal was found,” a police official said.

This occurs two days after identical threats were made against many private schools in Noida. But authorities found out throughout the inquiry that the bomb threats were submitted by a Class 9 kid who didn’t want to go to school.

Senior police officials are present at the scene, while the cyber team is actively investigating the source of the email. Noida Police have urged the public to remain calm and avoid spreading rumors.
