Anil Kapoor, a renowned actor, gave fans a preview of his new movie, “Subedaar,” on his 68th birthday. The teaser showed Kapoor in an intense and rugged avatar.
A preview of the actor’s much-awaited film Subedaar was made available on Prime Video. Set in the heartland of India, the suspenseful action thriller follows Subedaar Arjun Maurya (Kapoor) as he navigates the chaos of civilian life while attempting to “manage a strained relationship with his daughter and societal dysfunction.” It tells the story of a soldier who, after serving his country, now battles his own adversaries to defend his family and home.
Anil Kapoor shared, “Subedaar is special!!! It’s much more than just an action film; it’s about resilience, honor, family, and the relentless fight we face in life. I could not have asked a better director than Suresh to captain this film and it is equally special to partner with Vikram and the team as we bring this story to life. In addition to Anil Kapoor, Radhika Madan features in Subedaar as Anil Kapoor’s on-screen daughter Tumhari Sulu, and Suresh Triveni, the Director of Jalsa, is in charge of Subedaar. In addition, Triveni and Prajwal Chandrashekar penned it. Abundantia Entertainment, Opening Image, Anil Kapoor Film, and Communication Network Pvt. Ltd. all support it together.
The team will begin the final round of filming in January after finishing the outdoor shot in Uttar Pradesh. The release date of the film continues to stay under wraps.
