The US President-elect Donald Trump accused that California Governor Gavin Newsom is to be responsible for this week’s horrific flames that are destroying Los Angeles County.
Following a string of wildfires that destroyed more than 20,000 acres in total, over 80,000 individuals were still being evacuated from their homes as of Wednesday. There have been multiple reported injuries and at least five documented deaths.
Trump said in a post that Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California.
However, Agriculture is the main user of the Colorado River, which provides a large portion of Los Angeles’ water supply. Trump expressed excitement for January 20th, little more than two weeks before his inauguration.
He added that he will demand that this incompetent governor allow beautiful, clean, fresh water to flow into California! Slamming more Trump said that Newson is to be blamed for this. On top of it all, no water for fire hydrants, not firefighting planes. A true disaster.
He also held Biden accountable. “No money in FEMA, no water in the fire hydrants,” the President-Elect added, criticizing incumbent Joe Biden, his predecessor. Joe Biden is leaving me like this. Many thanks, Joe.
