They would have all died.” He criticized his predecessor, Joe Biden, for not securing the deal earlier, saying that “if Biden would have done this deal a year and a half, two years ago, or frankly, it should have never happened.”
Trump also expressed his intention to visit the Middle East, although not immediately. His Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, is set to travel to Gaza to oversee the implementation of the hostage deal.
