A car accident in Leicestershire claimed the life of 32-year-old Indian student Chiranjeevi Panguluri when it fell into a ditch. Four additional travelers suffered severe injuries and were admitted to the hospital and are stable.
“Chiranjeevi, 32, was the passenger in a grey Mazda3 Tamura, who was traveling county bound from Leicester towards Market Harborough, before leaving the road and coming to rest in a ditch,” a police statement read.
“Officers are still eager to talk to anyone who could have been on the A6 on Tuesday morning when the collision occurred. Additionally, they want individuals to see if they have any dash cam footage,” the Leicestershire Police statement stated.
A 27-year-old man has been freed on bail after being detained on suspicion of causing death by reckless driving. To help with their investigation, the police are requesting dashcam footage and witnesses.
