BJP Tamil Nadu President K. Annamalai has strongly criticised telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his handling of the stampede incident in Sandhya theatres involving Telugu actor Allu Arjun.
Annamalai accused Reddy of orchestrating a clear case of victimization and bullying, using state powers for personal politics and agendas. He said that Reddy is trying to gain attention by targeting a famous actor. He also claimed that the vandalism at Allu Arjun’s home was done by people Reddy’s constituency.
Annamalai also said that the Telangana government is being unfair and biased towards its treatment of Allu Arjun.
Allu Arjun is facing legal actions over stampede of 4th December at Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad, where a woman named Revathi lost her life and her son got critically injured and is getting a treatment.
Despite cooperating with the investigation the actor has been gaining acute backlash , accused of negligence and violating public safety norms
