In a startling event, a 21-year-old man in Bhatni town, which is in the Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh, committed suicide early on Wednesday morning while on a video conversation with his fiancée. Asgar Ali, an electrician, has been identified as the dead.
In order to determine the sequence of events that led to the incident, police have seized Ali’s phone and intend to speak with his girlfriend. Asgar and the woman had been dating for more than a year, according to preliminary investigations. However, the girl’s family rejected their plans to get married, which put a stop to their romance.
According to reports, the emotional upheaval reached its zenith on Tuesday evening when Asgar spoke with his lover on the phone for about five hours. When the couple got into a heated dispute, the conversation took a disturbing turn. During the video conversation, Asgar allegedly made the fatal decision.
A police official said, “We are looking into every facet of the case to find out what caused this tragic incident.”
